Description
Vamos a ver, dijo un ciego. “Let’s see, said a blind man.” The most deadpan sentence in Colombian Spanish, and the correct response to any promise you have no intention of believing: the raise, the callback, the money on Friday.
Nobody says out loud that the promise is false. The blind man handles that part.
Flat vector, dry as the phrase itself: dark glasses, a raised eyebrow implied rather than drawn, and absolutely no wink to the audience.
For professional sceptics, and for anyone who has been told “next quarter” more than twice.
