Even Monkeys Fall From Trees Hoodie

Description

猿も木から落ちる. “Even monkeys fall from trees.” The important detail is that the monkey is good at trees. This is not a proverb about incompetence — it is about the failure rate built into doing anything well.

It is said kindly, almost always to someone being far too hard on themselves after one bad afternoon.

Ukiyo-e woodblock: indigo, flat planes, and a fall drawn with complete composure. The kind of print that works on a wall as easily as on a shirt.
