The Frog Forgets the Tadpole — Art Print

Description

개구리 올챙이 적 생각 못 한다. “The frog cannot remember when it was a tadpole.” Aimed, in Korea and everywhere else, at the person who got promoted and immediately became unbearable.

What makes it perfect is that it accuses nobody. It simply states a fact about amphibians and lets the room do the rest.

Drawn in the spirit of minhwa, Korean folk painting: flat pigment, confident outlines, a composition that looks painted rather than rendered.

The print

• Matte poster: 189 g/m² museum-quality matte paper, giclée print, no glare
• Canvas: cotton-poly canvas stretched over a 1.25″ pine frame, ready to hang
• Square format, artwork centred with a clean margin — the poster arrives ready for any square frame
• Printed with the saying in its original language, as part of the artwork
